What You Can Do

This is just a sampling of the opportunities that are available in Creative Arts Ministry.  As you read through the list below look for an opportunity for you. If you don't find one that fits fill out a form anyway.  Creative Arts are constantly evolving.  We can always make room for more.  To start the application process fill out a short survey available at the information center, through the church office, or you may email us at music@cpraise.org.  All that's left is turning in your form at the information desk or through email.

Creative Design
Whatever your gift, whether photography, cinematography, lighting design, set design or sound engineering, there is a place for you on our team.  Email us at music@cpraise.org or fill out one of our forms.

The Cathedral of Praise Choir
The Choir is a great opportunity for someone who loves to worship the Lord and loves to sing.  Our choir practices on Wednesday evening in the choir room.  Currently, the choir only practices for seasonal ministry opportunities.  We only ask for a commitment of 12 weeks for practice and performance.  Does this sound interesting?  Contact music@cpraise.org for more information or fill out a form.

Youth Fine Arts Program
We have a wonderful fine arts program for students in our church and your students can be apart!  Every year our students work to further their God-given talents.  In the Spring we take the students to be adjudicated.  They are given helpful hints allowing them to continue to grow.  Our students have participated in drama, music, photography, dance, and public speaking.  This allows our students to not only grow in the gifts but teaches them how to put those gifts to work in the church and in the world.  It is a requirement that the student be apart of our COPY youth ministry being in service 80% of the time.  Watch the video of our students at this year’s state Fine Arts Festival, and if you would like more information contact us at music@cpraise.org or fill out a form.

Praise and Worship Team
The Praise and Worship team leads our congregation into the presence of God every Sunday morning.  They practice on Tuesday evening starting at 7:00PM in the sanctuary.  This is a mandatory rehearsal time.  A praise and worship team member should be a member of the church and be striving to live for the Lord with all their heart.    There will be an interview with Pastor Mike and Danette before acceptance unto this team.  To sign up for an interview and audition contact music@cpraise.org or fill out one of our forms.

Support Staff
There is more to art than what a person sees.  Look at all the great artists.  While they paint the pictures there is always someone behind them mixing the paint.  If you are interested in being apart of the support staff team you would be able to do many things.  The support staff helps organize the music library.  They help prepare the stage for Sunday morning service.  They send reminder calls and emails.  They help set up and move sets.  Let's face it, many times artists need help to keep their minds straight.  Our Support Staff does that.  If you are interested in participating it this ministry fill out one of our forms or email us at music@cpraise.org.
