Rev. John and Rev. Evelyn Looper provide compassionate, practical, Biblical counseling for the members of our congregation.  The counseling is available for individuals -- both adult and youth -- as well as couples and families.  The Loopers also provide referrals for those needing in-depth, long-term therapy.

            John is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, a graduate of Central Bible College (Springfield, MO), and a certified counselor through the Emerge Ministries (Akron, OH).  He retired from the United States Postal Service to go into full-time ministry.

            Evelyn is also an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and holds a BS in ED from Southwest Missouri State University (Springfield, MO) and an M.Ed. from Northeastern State University (Tahlequah, OK) with a major in Counseling.  She was a career teacher and counselor with the Tulsa Public Schools, from which she retired to go into full-time ministry.

            The Loopers have five grown children and 10 grandchildren.  Their lifetime experiences in ministry, as well as in the secular arena, and in parenting give them a wealth of empathy and knowledge from which they are able to provide invaluable guidance to those seeking help.  To set up an appointment, or for more information, please call them at home, 918-494-3897.
