COPY Parents
The COPY ministry staff and team leaders welcome you to the web site. We hope to provide you with answers to any questions you might have about COPY. Take a look around the site, or call the office for answers to any questions you might have.
COPY is a ministry for students in 7th – 12th grades, but we have an open door policy regarding parents interested in what their children are doing. So feel free to stop by for a service on Wednesday nights, Wednesday night service starts at 7:00pm. If you want to get involved or volunteer your time, please contact the ministry staff and they can point you in the right direction.
COPY Purpose
First things first, we must fully understand what COPY is, and what it is not.
COPY is a youth ministry targeting students in 7th – 12th grades. It is not alternative church for students. It is a youth ministry that is a submitted part of the local church. It is not a youth group that is a watered-down substitute for the local church. So while COPY provides a place where students can worship, pray and be fed the Word congregationally, the true purpose of COPY goes much deeper.
That purpose is to reach the youth of this area; connect them in righteous relationships; identify their unique gifts and callings; train, develop, and disciple those gifts into maturity, and eventually release them into a place of ministry within the local church, so that their very life is an expression of worship and glory to Jesus Christ. To help them love God, love people, and love life as they become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
